An English-speaking advertisement film produced by the Information Center (Hasbara) in cooperation with the Israel Government Tourist Corporation, intended to promote international tourism to Israel’s coasts and four seas: the Mediterranean Sea, the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea and the Red Sea. The film presents to potential tourists the options for a beach and sea vacation in Israel, whether in the coastal cities along the Mediterranean such as Nahariya, Acre and Tel Aviv where one can fish, swim or sail, a visit to Tiberias to the shores of the Sea of Galilee where water skiing developed in recent years, and a vacation in the Dead Sea. Upon visiting the southern city of Eilat with its shores along the Red Sea, one can experience the beauty of diving, as depicted in the underwater photography of the coral reefs in Eilat.

An Oppressed People Is Always Right
In May 1974, the Israeli Air Force carried out an extermination operation against the Palestinian refugee camp Nabatiyeh. With this as a starting point, it is reviewed how the last 50 years of Zionist colonization of Palestine have partly led to the establishment of the state of Israel, partly to the expulsion of a people, the Palestinians, from their land. The film shows scenes of daily life in Palestinian refugee camps. We hear various of the inhabitants talk about their desire to return to their country, and we follow how the resistance movement works to free women from their traditional backward role. At the same time, the emergence of the armed resistance struggle is analysed, and the significance of the latest military technological developments for guerilla wars in the 3rd world is explained.

Alger Et Ses Environs
The film, shot in 1938, is part of a series entitled “The true face of Algeria”. The film highlights the proximity of Algiers to Paris and promotes air travel. The commentary supporting the images highlights the urban dynamism (“Every day, a new skyscraper replaces a wasteland”) and the comparison with Paris (“Algiers is often nicknamed the Paris of North Africa because of its elegance become proverbial). Contemporary architectural achievements are described as the sign of “grandiose modernism”: “we love the new, the bold”. But the point does not forget the buildings illustrating “the Moorish, classic and attractive style”. The description of the Casbah also attempts to understand the architectural organization but also the diversity and even the atmosphere.
