Sumergidos en Atlántico (Minidocumental)

"Sumergidos en Atlántico" is a mini documentary that we started filming at the beginning of this whole project. Combining it with the EP was not easy, and there came a time when we decided that the best thing was to stop and dedicate all our energy to Atlántico. But when we found out that we were going to play at the Beatout, we wanted to take it back and document how we experienced the concert and the days leading up to it. This is the result of putting together the footage from before, during and after an entire stage. With it we close what we opened with Atlántico, and we face next year with new ideas and projects.

I also appreciate how spirituality manifests itself in Asian cultures as this almost earthbound presence guiding people through every day life and when they need an extra bit of help they need only ask whichever deity holds dominion over their desire. Alan's journey shows the difficulties and injustices faced by young blacks from the periphery who try their hand at art and end up clashing with a racist, oppressive, and violent system.

How do German couples communicate in private? What are they arguing about? Is the way to a man’s heart really through his stomach? This docu-fictional hybrid production discusses such questions with the help of authentic interview snippets that were edited under the staged plot. We get an insight into the life of an animal couple, who experience typical everyday situations on behalf of us humans. At first, our fox is emotionally contained, while the penguin lady may get wild as hell. With a wink, the filmmakers hold up a mirror to the audience in the cinema.

When forest animals invade our cities, the world is in disarray. Office vixen Fiona struggles with her banana phone addiction. Will she succumb to it? Temperamental bunny Barbara only gives her stag sugar daddy Nestor his special massage, after he dines her and plays the big spender. This obscure short film pinpoints postmodern tropes of consumerism, eroticism, and art with an homage to the theater stage and references to literature. This work uses a fantasy language and needs no subtitles.
