Get Well Soon - SchwuZ, Berlin

An electrifying performance by German band Get Well Soon to celebrate the 74th Berlinale. Every year, the German capital hosts one of the world's biggest film festivals: the Berlinale. For the 74th edition, in February 2024, the band Get Well Soon—formed around singer-songwriter Konstantin Gropper—headlined the "ARTE Berlinale Party" music event, which took place at Schwuz, an iconic Berlin club. In addition to his studio albums, Konstantin Gropper has created the music for three episodes of the German series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). He also contributed to the soundtrack of Detlev Buck's film A Very Bad Plan (2020). His cinematic streak made his band the ideal candidate to rock the Berlinale.

The Postal Service: Everything Will Change

Everything Will Change is a feature-length documentary concert film of The Postal Service’s performance at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA during their 2013 reunion tour. A collaboration between Benjamin Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (from Dntel), with Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, The Postal Service released Give Up, their one and only album, in 2003. That record went on to sell over a million copies and most of the band’s fans never had the chance to see them perform live. In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Give Up, the band reunited to tour the world. With intimate interviews and backstage footage of the band, Everything Will Change captures one of the nights when everything did change.

Ending Is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show

On 21.12.2012 in the Fox Theater in Pomona, California, a Suicide Silence Memorial-concert for Mitch Lucker took place. The motto of the concert was "Ending is the beginning". A range of guest-musicians, friends and fans of the Deathcore-legend Suicide Silence concelebrated with the band in loving memory of the late singer. Mitch Lucker died on 01.11.2012 after a tragic motorbike crash. He left his wife and their daughter Kenadee behind.

Carrie Fisher: Wishful Drinking

"Wishful Drinking" is based on Fisher's memoirs of the same title. The stage adaptation had its world premiere in 2006 at the Geffen Playhouse in L.A. It later played at Berkeley Repertory before opening on Broadway in October at Studio 54. The show takes audiences on a comic tour of Fisher's messy personal life and career. The actress-writer recounts stories about her work on the "Star Wars" series as well as her relationship with her parents Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. She also discusses her much-publicized problems with alcohol and drugs.

Elbow and the BBC Concert Orchestra: The Seldom Seen Kid - Live at Abbey Road

On Saturday 17th January 2009 at the world famous Abbey Road studios in London, Elbow performed the entirety of their Mercury Music Prize winning album The Seldom Seen Kid with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Chantage, the winners of Radio 3's Choir Of The Year competition. The band played new and exclusive versions of the songs from the album in order and were joined by Richard Hawley for The Fix. The second installment in KISS's Kissology DVD series will sort out the casual fans from the true members of the KISS Army. The material included here, after all, begins in 1978, when the band released four separate solo albums at once and their massive popularity began to wane. It continues on through the controversial makeup-free period and ends in '91, as KISS struggled to cope with the ascendancy of grunge over the hair metal style they'd experienced a second boom with. James Brown: Love Power Peace

Live at the Olympia, Paris, 1971 is the only recording that documents one of his live performances with the original J.B.'s lineup featuring Bootsy and Catfish Collins. Love Power Peace was originally intended for a 1972 release as a vinyl triple album, but was cancelled after key members of the original J.B.'s left Brown to join Parliament-Funkadelic.
